What is groundhog day?

Groundhog day is a holiday that is celebrated on February 2nd by the USA and Canada.  According to the legend, the groundhog emerges from the ground to look for its shadow. If its sunny and the groundhog sees its shadow, then the groundhog goes back into its burrow and winter continues for 6 more weeks. If it does not see its shadow, then it remains outside because the worst of the winter is over and warm weather is on the way.

What is Punxsutawney Phil's prediction? 

Phill predicted that there will be another 6 weeks of winter because he saw his shadow. 

What is Wiarton Willie's prediction?

Willie predicted that there will be an early spring because he did not see his shadow.
